To whom it may concern,
There are a few speeders that drive through our neighborhood WAY faster than the posted 25 MPH. These speeders also screech their tires and peel-out in the intersections. (you can see their tire marks on the road) There are also more people out walking, with kids and dogs too.
This is not a good mix.
We have no sidewalks. No speed bumps. And with more families moving into the neighborhood, it seems like something has to change for the safety of us all.
We are also only one block from the local elementary school, and lots of kids walked to school (when school was in session) and will continue in the Fall. They squeeze over on the side of the road, in the gravel, when speeders zoom by.
It's extremely dangerous for everyone.
Is there anyway to have sidewalks installed on (at least) one side of our local roads?
Or speed bumps?
Or more 4-way Stops?
Hopefully one of our kids doesn't have to get hurt first, before taking care of this issue.
The screenshots attached show the areas where my family and I have noticed the speeding is the worst. But I'm sure this whole area has complaints...
