Trees Need to be Removed , They are too near power lines ,The Falling Leaves cause the water drains to clog and wet leaves cause a hazard to street driving, Requesting removal of All Over grown Trees, The UI states , " Avoid Planting Trees Next to Utility Lines and Plant Low-Growing Trees".
This is a thoughtless suggestion and one that is not only short-sighted, but inaccurate. Ice alone will pull down power lines. If trees need to be trimmed or dead trees removed, that makes sense; but to make such a blanket statement is irresponsible and selfish. Trees add more to not only the beauty and value of property, but also to the health and well being of the people and animals who live around them. You need to educate yourself about these issues and not make such drastic requests that have far-reaching and very negative implications for the entire community.
