Would highly suggest that a blinking STOP sign with repainted lines be done at the corner of Curtis & Tennessee St in front of MIT School. A driver in a blue pick up blew the STOP sign without any sign of braking or slowing down. If it had been school time or if I had been in the middle of my turn we would have been hit. Better STOP signs are needed before a student or driver gets hurt.

Current city policy for these types of signs is to share the cost of the sign with a private group, the city will pay for the labor to install the signs. The cost ranges from $2-4k based upon the intersection layout.
Staff has provided the information to a representative of the PTO, who is working with the group and school to try and secure the funding. When funding has been provided, we can then move forward.
