The intersection of Peace Street and Wilmington needs a protected left turn signal for cars turning onto Halifax from eastbound Peace Street. The growth in the area from Seaboard Station and the Pilot Mill business and residential development has increased the volume of traffic turning here.

A left turn signal study has been completed for this intersection. Based on the most recent crash and traffic volume data, a protected left turn signal cannot be recommended at this time. We will continue to monitor, and should traffic volumes increase, we will restudy this intersection. Thank you for sharing your concern with us.
