I'm a huge supporter of the meter program but this seems to be an issue particularly after her rains. Had this happen a couple of years ago and called the 1800 number. The lady's response was that I shouldn't utilitize that space. Wrong answer.
take it from someone who has paid ridiculous tickets due to no working meter and needing to park for all of 10 minutes in rain as well as FIRST FRIDAY after hours ticketing in districts that have events se the system SUCKS. Raleigh should look at other revenues, the way it is in this town is not friendly to working people , to visitors or to the arts. Dismaying how this will work against the city....
