Description
The new timing on the traffic light on Forest Road onto Fountain Street is too short, backing morning traffic up two blocks to West Elm. Something has definitely changed as this intersection, though busy, only recently began backing up this badly.

The City of New Haven Departmen of Transportation, Traffic, and Parking has already addressed this issue.
Don't you love how well they fixed it?

Thanks guys (TT&P) for the update.
The city will eventually get control which should indeed help with signal coordination along Fountain and also Whalley. But, the State has had control and the State's Contractor (Ducci) has maybe not even completed their upgrade work. CT DOT hopefully is working on this and will soon give control to City's TT&P dept.

That is a long time for people to be driving through a red light out of frustration.
That is a long time for a persistent safety problem to go without resolution.
That is a long time for this weakness/sloth/buck-passing to be tolerated.
