Who's the woman living in the hoarder van at Moore Square and why doesn't someone tell her to not park there?

Church in the woods is using illegal sound amplification on saturday and sundays in violation of city and county codes (that require PAID permits etc)

this is out of hand and needs to be dealt with NOW (if a islamic group was doing what church in the woods is doing in the moore square area you would have RPD, FBI, Homeland Security down there to arrest them) but church in the woods gets a pass in violation of the US constitution's establishment clause regarding religion

Thank you CoR. Get a dialogue started with these people who cause Moore Square to be a blight on Raleigh. I suggest let them pass out their food in front of the Wilmington Street Shelter, their Church, or their homes. Moore Square should be able to be enjoyed by all the citizens.

Enforce this ordinance against church in the woods (if you threaten one group with arrest for illegally giving out food in city parks you must do it to ALL the groups or it is Selective enforcement of the ordinance
and we will file a lawsuit against the city of Raleigh)

This building recently had 2 signs installed in the front windows. The signs are digital displays that rotate advertisements, flash and I think show short video clips. They're very large (almost the size of the whole window) and seem like they might be in violation of the sign ordinance. I understand why it's a great place to advertise as there are lots of people always waiting at the light on both streets, but also feel that it's probably very distracting to drivers who already have a lot to think about at a very busy intersection. I don't know if a single business occupies the buildling or if the owner is just renting out the windows for advertising.
Any info on if this is allowable would be great. Thanks!
  • 200 Block Of East Lenoir Street Raleigh, North Carolina - Central

residents (and people visiting residents, and building owners) of the 200 Block of East Lenoir Street are unable to find parking due to workers parking to avoid downtown paid parking zones

200 block of East Lenoir St needs a Residential Parking Permit Signs that limit non-permit holders to 2 hours

    If something IS NOT DONE,
WE WILL START TO RESERVE SPACES BY PLACING LARGE OBJECTS IN THE STREET !!!!
