    The pedestrian phase request at Whalley Ave. & Harrison St. by Mitchell Library & BEKI usually takes 45 to 60 seconds, even when zero vehicles are on the street. Is the control malfunctioning, not set correctly, or is there some logic to this? Doesn't the system recognize whether vehicles are present? No cars, no cars, wait wait wait, then WALK sign just as vehicles approach.

    On Fountain St. heading east, at stop before Harrison St. and Alden St., former "No Turn on Red" sign is missing. Alden isn't really at the corner but cars very frequently go through the red light and "turn right" 1/2 block east onto Alden. Besides the sign, can we get some enforcement at that hazardous intersection?
