To clarify, as the one who reported this incident: There are four crosswalk signals missing from this intersection and the lines need to be repainted at all four crossings. This is an extremely busy intersection and quite dangerous for pedestrians to cross. Thank you for notifying the city of this need!

Can the urban infrastructure keep up with the renewed interest in downtown living and working? Is the city ensuring that these types of pedestrian-scale improvements are budgeted year to year?

Please fix this!!! With all the popular businesses and amphitheatre etc, it's a shame this hasn't happened already!

Saw my wife almost get run over at this intersection last week. Pent up exurbanites see the end of downtown and they throttle up while trying to GTF out from this block through Cabarrus.

I would love to explore the restaurants on that side of town more with my family but its just not safe to cross the streets!! Please get some cross walk lights in so I can have my kids join my husband and I out for dinner.

I've referred this to our Public Works Department. When the staff has had a chance to respond I’ll post an update. Thanks for reporting.
