The Parks and Recreation Department has responded. The mower operator missed the morning briefing where they were told not to mow down the daffodils. The supervisor was off site picking up fuel when the flowers were cut down. When the supervisor returned the operator stated he thought it was time to cut them back like we do each year. He has been instructed not to cut back daffodils until after they have flowered. I apologize for this mistake and the crew has been instructed in proper maintenance procedures for this property.
