People using this access road to gain entry to the woods behind east meadow park. I'm not sure but I don't think off road vehicles are allowed back there. A bar gate may help curb this activity. Definitely dangerous as I see many people walking through here and the dirt bikes and ATVs all travel way too fast to be safe around these pedestrian trails.

This is a problem all over CT; there are actually ATV websites that tell people to run up the rail tracks from the Maples to Webb!
This will not be resolved until Shelton & Monroe PD make this a cooperative priority. But, given the demand on police services they are not likely to be able to elevate enforcement. Please complain directly to your Aldermen; not here!
