I'm surprised a Police officer on regularly patrol can't address this issue.

Extremely tired of having to deal with this illegal parking on both sides of the road! Parents picking up their children from Glen Cove school park along N. Regstta regardless of signs posting No Parking. And not only parking illegally, but making u-turns in the Headlands Ct entrance...sometimes near head on misses with other cars turning into the court as well.
City needs to repaint the curb to mark no parking and have an officer patrol.

There is no traffic enforcement in this town, practically law of the jungle out there.

I don't think the Police patrols the streets.

Well my taxes haven't gone down to reflect that lack of service. Maybe a call to the Mayor's office or Police Captains Office would help us make our case.

illegal parking all through out this area. Could use a nice sweep.

You won't get it. Issues with parking and traffic around schools during start and end of day are ubiquitous throughout the Bay Area. And, a blind eye is turned by all. Ask any traffic engineer or traffic officer. It's a royal PIA.

No one lets their kids walk to school anymore. Or take a bus. Out of a misplaced fear of them being kidnapped or harmed along the way.

In the meantime, real statistics tell us that the children are many times more likely to be hurt in a traffic accident while riding in the car that takes them to school.

If you ask the parents involved, they'll tell you it isn't their fault; that the school owes them better parking so they can engage in this wasteful practice. Entitlement has become the scourge of modern American society.

What about all the car parking on South Regatta in the no parking along the water walk. The cars park there and driver must swerve into on coming traffic to go around them. Drivers can also easily rear end these vehicles if they are not careful because they not expecting them to be there. Cars are also backing out of driveways forcing on coming traffic to into the opposite lane as drivers are swerving to avoid these cars. There is a guy that has construction materials parked on a pallet in the middle of the street taking up part of the road that has been there for the last 6 months. We need patrol of this area.
