Deskripsyon

There is no handicap access from Beaudry and 5th, over the 5th street 110 overpass, into downtown. It is very difficult managing all the curbs when crossing the street even for an able bodied person. Please make downtown accessible to the handicapped and disabled.

Cars constantly run the red light in front of pedestrians. Without a handicap ramp, disabled people have a very difficult time getting themselves out of traffic and into safety.

Buses regularly make fast right hand turns onto Beaudry, and even I have felt I was in danger of being hit. The way the sidewalk are set up, it is a precarious crossing of several streets past busy traffic to get to the downtown area. I don't think a handicapped person could even attempt to use this path to reach downtown.
