Please contact the PWD call center and ask why city trash cans all over Oakland look like this. The litter volunteers in my neighborhood are constantly reporting and cleaning up after full and over flowing city trash cans. High use city trash cans need to be dumped daily not just when they look like this.

I would also like to acknowledge this chronic problem. Many of the garbage cans in this area are overflowing causing rodent problems.

Perhaps the restaurants whose customers put much of the trash in these bins need to provide their own outdoor bins and also empty them regularly. The city should not have to pick up business trash!
