To be fair, Code Enforcement stated they tagged the vehicle (RV) yesterday. They can't tow it for 72 hours from the time of the tagging. They can move it if the license tags are expired. Does anyone see if they are current or expired?

Abandoned vehicle officers want the vehicle(s) to be expired registration for at least 6 months. If it has not been moved for 72 hours, they can tow it after that time. If it is expired registration for 6 months, or is a reported stolen vehicle, or there are no evidence of registration (no license plates) then they can tow it right away. The problem is getting them out there in the first place!

CSS confirmed that they tagged this vehicle yesterday and yes, they have 72 hours from the time it is tagged to move the vehicle.

Moved. Hopefully they will move out of the city and not just bounce from block to block.

City code states if the vehicle is not roadworthy (that means if the windshield is broken, door is missing, something hazardous is hanging off of it etc.)That will get it towed immediately also.

Additionally, there's a whole section of city codes that address restrictions on motorhomes -since they are such a blight to the city, there is just no enforcement of said codes.

This seems to be the pattern for these RVs here in South Vallejo. The only thing we can do is keep reporting them.

Re RV on 500 Cherry: just report an new issue, and say it is a continuation of this issue. A picture is nice but not required. Also reference issue https://seeclickfix.com/issues/3700649 which does have a picture.
