It would be nice to have a traffic light at the corner of Port Indian Rd and Egypt Rd. It would slow down traffic so that you could make a right or left in a timely matter. There have been several accidents at this intersection.
Amen! I do realize that there are other lights on the road, but with all the new construction in the area, it makes it harder and harder to get out of the road. I had questioned it before but was told that there have been no reported deaths. Well, I don't want to be the one that would bring the light and don't feel it is very fair to ask anyone to volunteer for this activity! We need the light. End of story!
Since the number of retail stores in the area continue to grow, it normally takes 5 minutes to get from Port Indian Rd, on to Egypt rd. It often requires a risky move to get out, and a close call. I assume there's been accidents. There could be fatalities if anyone were speeding. There are now condo's across the street. The situation demands a traffic light. I can think of no other section that requires one as much. I also think the other lights in the area should have 'no turn on red' to help balance the flow. Thank you.
It is important to have a light at Port Indian na Egypt before someone get killed. It is impossible to get out of Port Indian Road or Mill Road during rush hours. Also whether or not the development was there the road is just too busy not to have a light.
Trying to get onto Egypt Road Left or Right is a nightmare. Why doesn't West Norriton realize that on Port Indian Road you have Juvenile Probation, The Countys Detention & Shelter, Juvenile Court and Pathway! Does a Judge or a Lawyer have to get killed first before a Traffic Light will be put on this corner? Plus not only don't you get a break to make a right or left but the traffic doesn't pay any attention to their speed. It's nothing to see them traveling 50 mph.
