Congress Ave is just a disaster. Ever morning I go by
with the bus. I am surprised that the axle does not fall
off. this is the worst street in new haven. I hope this
gets fixed soon

Congress Ave is scheduled to be paved completely at some piont this season. So we should see a new road begin to come done this year.

NEw HAven does care that the streets are terrible to drive down - not sure what they payor is doing with the money but it isn't for street repairs

Your concern has already been address. The community has been informed through the Management Team meetings for some time now that not only will repaving start near the end of August, but that it will also get a new streetscape. Considerable thought has been given to this project already by the neighborhood as well as various City departments. You should see a vast difference by this time next year.
