I believe the 15 minute limit is for parents to drop off and pick up kids from NMS, CAW, and ECA, or to grab a cup of coffee from Koffee?. Due to the volume of traffic on Audubon and the limited number of parking spots I find this limit to be completely reasonable. Longer term parkers can park on the following block of Audubon for 2 hours, around the corner at Audubon and State for 2 or 12 hours, or on Whitney Ave for 1 hour. Yes, this causes parkers to walk 1 to 3 blocks, Istvan. Appalling.

no, unfortunately i didn't mean they are pausing here with their engines running. i meant that they usually park there for several minutes at a time. the day that i posted this issue i meant it when i said they were PARKED.
and, regardless of whether their engines are still on, it is a lane for car travel and it should never be blocked.
