Thank you for considering fixing this problem. The curb appeal of the park has been going downhill since they put in the new sewer line. A little attention from the city could bring it back to the state that it wasn't for that project happened!

Alot of this issue is from the irresponsibility of SEVERAL illegally parked cars while picking children up from school. this is something the Conn Elementary folks should address as well. these folks have created a traffic nightmare on the corner of frank and brookside for YEARS. things like, creating their own parking spaces(on norris and frank st, blocking thru traffic, creating their own travel lanes on frank and brookside. I think a stronger police presence is needed during the hours of school "letting out" (3:30-4:15) so that these folks quit destroying our neighborhood for their own convience. last time i checked it was ILLEGAL to park, stand or stop on city owned greenways and creek/stream bed right of way paths, yet nothing is done to enforce this ongoing and destructive problem. I have no problem with these folks using the area as a makeshift park but use it responsibly, not destructively.

Here is a pic of the damage. It hasn't rained in days, yet there is a mud hole from the cars that drive in the grass.
