Description
Any time of day, but especially from about 7 am to 10 am and 3 pm to 6 pm turning left off of Denise Dr or Wood Isle Rd is difficult and hazardous. This intersection is about 1/4 mile from the US1/Jones Franklin interchange to the north and about 0.8 miles from the next light at Crossroads Blvd. Given the number of unregulated intersections in this roughly 1 mile stretch of road (8) and the volume of traffic on the road turning left is a crap shoot and requires taking your life in to your hands on a daily basis. I am frankly amazed that I have not been hit making left turns on more than one occasion.

SO you want me to have to jack rabbit through traffic each morning? How many people have to be killed before e traffic light is needed?
Traffic on Jones Franklin has gotten bad enough in the past few years that I often turn right, then turn left into the next office part and turn right out of there to make a left turn. Given the volume of traffic at rush hour I often have to wait 2, 3, 4 or more minutes to make a left turn. I have learned to watch for much smaller openings than I would normally consider safe and to be willing to cut off other drivers who are not as fast on the gas as me to make my turns.
