Dee, I also live on Queen Street, between Pete and Madison. I love this neighborhood. I an also a senior and bought my house in 96. I have lovely neighbors. Everyone is respectful and helpful. I have 2 good friends that live near me, we talk on the phone, text, and meet outside and help each other with yard work, and gardening. We share recipes and food we made. We watch for each other’s packages, and service people. When it snows my husband takes his snow blower and clears everyone’s walks and driveways, and the younger guys do the shoveling. I find this neighborhood to be very much like the neighborhood I grew up in with my parents friendly with the neighbors. Do people start their cars in the morning, of course, they need to go to work. Do people have parties that sometimes get loud, of course, but they respectfully quiet down by 9 pm. I don’t understand how one block away you are so unhappy. Do you go outside and talk to your neighbors? Do you offer help and things from your garden to your neighbors? This is a great street. I’m very happy here, I’m sorry you aren’t.

Hi Dee, I recently moved to Queen Street between Peet and Madison almost a year ago. One of the things that I love about this neighborhood is the mix of old timers and new comers as myself. The previous poster, L Haight is my neighbor and she is truly a God sent. She offered to start my plants for my garden and is helping me with cultivating my green thumb. Everyone that I met so far has been welcoming. Yes, there are some neighbors that have parties that are loud but overall everyone is respectful. I'm sorry to hear about your ordeals that you are having and I truly help that things improve for the better.

It's nice to no people care, thank you for your comment. I spoke to someone who gave me good advice. We will see what happen. I'll keep you posted.

Some things is changing for the better some has not. We are watching things around us. Very cautious! Thanks for advice!
