I agree 100%. The same situation occurs on the opposite side of the subdivision on Falcon Peak Street. These 2 streets are the only streets to enter the Marigold subdivision as well as main points of access to the park. Two cars cannot safely pass each other on either street because cars are allowed to park on both sides of street. There is major overflow from the apartments, unfortunately, and those people park daily/nightly in the Marigold subdivision. I won't even get into the speeding issue or littering issues at this point...but safety is a big concern and red curbs need to be addressed.

This anonymous request for red curb on one side of each of two residential streets in Otay Ranch SPA 1 is summarily denied, because the streets in question are the same width as all of the residential streets in SPA 1. These streets were approved at an Otay Ranch Design standard of 32' width curb to curb dimension, allowing 6 feet for parking on both sides and two-way traffic in the remaining 20 feet. (10 feet in each direction) The 32' cross-section allows for 6 feet for parking on each side and two 10 foot wide travel lanes and also considers the 20 feet of clearance for Fire Department Access.
