Nothing ...nothing. Taxes in this area are the highest in the city. Maybe they need more???

Status quo...I think it will not be resolved through see-click-fix. But leave it as an issue.

During the past few months I spoke with men working on the trees on Humphrey Street, The United Illuminating crew who also worked on the street and the city Parks Department. All of them said it was the other department's job to trim the branches. The sidewalk gets worse every day. Nothing has been accomplished.

Sidewalk gap is worse..tree growth is worse..City response ...... NOTHING.!!

No change...sidewalk crack is raising as time goes by and the tree grows...branches extended even more over wires leading to the house...nobody cares...

I've written enough comments about this. Yesterday a woman walking and texting tripped over the sidewalk crack and skinned her knee. She didn't want assistance but this is what happens. Complete waste of time writing about this.

The tree is pushing the sidewalk up bit by bit every year. It has caused a 3/4 inch lip which people trip over and it's causing other small cracks to appear. I wonder what effect these comments have on the city because it has been ignored for a long time. As for the tree, a trimming would solve that problem, but nobody wants to except the responsibility.

Thanks to both your comments today I noticed we missed your request because it was in "other-city responsibility". I am going to recategorize to sidewalk first and then we can get sidewalk location inspected.

Inspected. Concrete sidewalk. Tree root cracked and raised panels. We will schedule repairs.

THE TREE SHOULD BE REMOVED AND A SMALLER PLANT PUT IN ITS PLACE. ANY REPAIR DONE WILL BE NEGATED BY THE PRESENT TREE'S ROOTS CONTINUAL GROWTH.

Woman walked by the house yesterday and tripped over the cracked sidewalk. Lucky she was young and was not injured. Still waiting for that so-called repair promised by the city.
