I agree I live around the corner from smith Branch and the potholes where bad before but after the Flood it is ridiculous. I walk down to that area with my kids for nature walks and fishing. We used to roller skate and bike ride in the parking lot. I know many people that used to bring strollers and walk that road for exercise, but say they go into town now because the potholes are so bad, and the parking lot area is completing ruined from the flood. I measured one hole and it is over 9 inches deep if a tire hits it your almost certain to get a flat, and if a kid hits it on a bike or roller skates it can be a real hazard. There are no local parks in this area and losing smith branch as a place to bring the kids is a huge lose to this area, I am Also a Realtor and used to tell people about Smith branch as a plus to moving to this neighborhood, which I can no longer do do the the condition of Smith branch.
