Thank you for reporting! Public Works has one full-time Maintenance worker whose sole job is to respond to illegal dumping reports throughout the City. This person usually makes 2 or more trips to the dump everyday, with each load weighing in around 1,200 pounds. We strive to respond to all reports in a timely fashion. You can help alleviate the illegal dumping problem by recording the license plate or taking note of the appearance of anyone you see dumping illegally and reporting this information to the Vallejo Police Department.

this is funny being that it looks like someone has been working inside of a building possibly and have filled their own trailer with old debris that they intend to take to the public dumps when they work is complete. ( I do the same exact thing in my line of work with my trailer similar to the one in this photo.) it also looks like it is parked on private property and very well confined to just the trailer and not scattered all throughout the neighborhood like the trash that is left behind my home that I pick up everyday because the city workers will not.

UPDATE: Because of the size of this dumping, the Streets section will be assisting the normal illegal dumping crew by providing equipmet that is capable of picking up this mess. The coordination to get the equipment and manpower on site means that it will take a little longer to get this blight picked up. Thanks for your patience!
