The drainage ditch is located behind the fence in the backyard and according to the homeowner is being filled with dirt and debris by their neighbor (4375 Hidden Ct). The issue is in the backyard of the property and thus is private property. Public works is not authorized to do work on private property. This will be forwarded to code enforcement.

The resident appointment is for inspections with the building inspector & permitting department. This is not related to her call today. -ps

Spoke with Resident and she wants me to come this week, she was unavailable last week

8.19.20 This ditch is in COSF or FC easement which is connected to a catch basin that allows the water to drain from the street. This ditch is in the middle of two properties and has standing water due to collapsing need to be repaired. I'm forwarding this case to Jacobs/public works.RSC

An assessment was made and it was determined that the drainage structure is in tact. The ditch is considered to be private property and is not the responsibility of the city. LP
