Please pick up dead animal between 322-324 Maitland Drive. Cars are driving into oncoming traffic to avoid running over the dead animal. This can cause a major head-on accident. I called the Alameda police non-emergency number at 6 am this morning since there was no Animal control at this time. It is now 6:30pm and the dead animal is still lying out on the street. Tomorrow the big recology trucks will come and pick up recycle bins in the morning on Maitland only to run over the critter again if not removed. Please pick up dead animal!! BTW If we had speed bumps, maybe this will happen less often!!
