Wow, is that picture in Vallejo? Who do you have to know in City Hall, to get to live on streets that well maintained?

Yeah, that's pretty bad. Ours was at least that bad until about 18 mos. ago when it was repaved. We were giddy over the improvement, then the so-called Vallejo "car culture" decided it was too attractive to let stand unscathed. You are probably aware of it already, but there is a place on the city site that shows their plans for street improvements. I really hope yours is high on the list.

After inspecting the area, we have determined this would not be something that should clean off the road. Cleaning paint or other substances from a road can lead to serious SWPPP violations in the state of California. The main concern however is that in pressure washing asphalt, it is inevitably damaged in the process and will weaken the integrity of the street. This can lead to potholes and other such damage much quicker than usually occurs. I agree that it does not look appealing, however in most of these situations we have found it better to let it naturally wear away.
