Speeding drivers down NE 170th Street Acknowledged1836 Ne 170th St Seattle, WA, 98155, USA - Shorelinewe have seen an increase in speeding drivers down our residential street. It is 25mph, yet we see people going anywhere from 35-95mph. we requested a speed cart at one point, and other neighbors have as well. It is getting worse and worse. we need speed bumps or a stop sign or a roundabout to slow people down. we have kids and no sidewalks and lots of people on bikes and walking. One neighbor actually got hit while walking by a speeding car (they are fine, just brushed them) we are at 18th and 170th NE

Trees / Vegetation Issues Archived729 North 178th Street Shoreline, Washington - ShorelineThe entirety of the north side of 178th St between Linden and Fremont Avenues is overgrown with brush and brambles. According to the King County Parcel mapping tool, this strip of land is not private property. This area attracts people looking for a place to drink alcohol, do drugs, and dump trash. Neighbors collect trash as best they can, but the thickness of the blackberry vines makes much of the trash irretrievable. This week, one neighbor collected a grocery cart full of trash. I just collected 5 bags of trash, including many, many beer bottles, several syringes, and several hundred feet of abandoned hoses. We would like to see this vegetation cleared out and replaced with trees or other landscaping to be be maintained by the city. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Syre Elemetry School Field Closed Archived8th Ave Nw Shoreline, Washington - ShorelineWhy every single summer since your redid the field a number of years ago with tax payer dollars, do you allow the field to be closed and locked in the summer time? This is an insult to the tax payers in the area who pay for the field, and should have access to it. Change your policy and reopen the field the the property tax owners paid for, and should be able to use.

Excessive speeding on Fremont Acknowledged17011 Fremont Ave N Shoreline, WA, 98133, USA - ShorelineBetween 165th and 173rd there is excessive speeding. There are no stop signs or traffic calming which doesn't make sense since it's by the high school, playing fields, the Richmodn Highlands Community Center and a growing number of households with small children. We have lived her for 14 years and its getting worse each day. Saw someone going 70+ and no one stops fully at the stop sign at N 170th St.

1131 N 165th St Shoreline, WA, 98133, USA - ShorelineHi
I work for Kaleidoscope Landscape Inc. We are volunteering every three weeks in Darnell Park. We have committed to work in the park for the long haul.
We are going to be working in the park on Monday Aug 9. There are people living in the park. We had a company work party in the park on July 31. The camp was there then and it has grown. I am trying to get in touch with someone. Could the camp be removed before we work in the park this coming Monday. -

16502 4th Ave Ne Shoreline, WA 98155, USA - ShorelineThe guy that owns this truck has been camping out here for weeks now. He has been seen dumping wood and other garbage near the truck, and has also been seen pooping and peeing multiple times along the sidewalk and fenceline. Occasionally I will see him getting into an early 2000's white Ford Taurus sedan, as well as a similar white Taurus wagon. He has also been spotted across the street in the apartment building parking lot.
