Coventry Rd & N Parkwood Rd Decatur, GA, 30030, USA - Decatur
This has been an ongoing problem for YEARS. Dekalb County resurfaced the street up to this point and Decatur has failed to fix this strip properly. I know of one bicycle accident caused by this … a child went over his handlebars and THANKFULLY landed in the adjoining yard. Someone is going to get hurt here (again). Please fix this properly.

Water from Oakview Townhomes has overflowed into our backyards on N 4th three times; flooding our front and back yards. Videos available.
  • 508 Drexel Ave Decatur, GA, 30030, USA - Decatur
508 Drexel Avenue has a major barking problem. Several times a day starting at daybreak, the owners let out multiple large dogs and they go crazy. It's unbelievably loud. It goes on for several minutes and then quiet. A while later, same thing. My wife works from home and it's making her crazy. We've been living in our house for nearly twenty years. I can't even hang out on my deck anymore without their German Shepards barking like the guard dogs in Stalag 17. One of our other neighbors talked to the dog owners about the noise. She was dismissed and nothing got better. The owners don't understand or care that they're disturbing the neighborhood at all hours. If they can't remember that other people live next door, they should be reminded with a fine. We're sick of these dogs blasting us out of bed daily. Enough already.

  • 103 N Fourth Ave Decatur GA 30030, United States - Decatur
This white truck never leaves this spot Parking in this spot makes it extremely difficult to see oncoming traffic from N 4th Ave on Oakview Rd There needs to be a no parking sign before the crosswalk so pedestrians can be seen at the crosswalk and cars can see oncoming traffic on Oakview Rd Cars cannot see pedestrians at the start of the crosswalk and thus do not stop It is extremely dangerous

Are there No standards?!! None at all?
  • 146 Norris St Decatur, GA, 30030, USA - Decatur
The former Billingsley property at 146 Norris, now owned by the city, has two very large oak trees at the back of the property by the chain-link fence separating the lot from the Dec. Sq. Condos. On the back side of the trees, facing the condos, the English Ivy is taking over both trees. It's up to (at least) the second story of the condos. It's going to kill those old trees.

660 Adair St Decatur, GA 30030, USA - Decatur
At the corner of W Ponce de Leon Ave and W Trinity, between 660 Adair St and 1 Charter Square, there is a bush or tree that hangs over, taking over the majority of the sidewalk in one area that makes it nearly impassible in dry conditions and completely impassible during rain or when it is wet outside. This has been overgrown for several months.
