This bicycle has been sitting for months without use. It has flat tires and is accumulating rust.

There is scaffolding sitting on a pedestrian walkway that does not appear to be connected to any construction project. It has been sitting for months and it obstructs pedestrian traffic. It is between Mamoun's and the Yale parking garage. In addition to being unsightly and obstructing pedestrian traffic, the buckets fill with water when it rains and become breeding sites for mosquitos.

The bike rack inside of the Howe Street parking garage is great--it is large, well-lit, and right next to the Yale Security Office. The problem is, people have locked up bikes there over a year ago and left them to rust, taking up precious parking spaces. When this many bikes are over-rusted and abandoned, it gives the impression that the rack is not in use, making it more vulnerable to theft. They need to be tagged, impounded, and removed, so that the commuters who actually use this rack can have the space to lock our bikes.
