The traffic light at the corner of Foxon Blvd. & Quinnipiac Ave. skips the green cycle altogether when traveling south on Quinnipiac at night, and it is extremely dangerous. It's been like this for months now, and I would be shocked if there have not been accidents due to it. I will call the number listed below during the day, but seriously, I can't believe this is not considered an emergency, as I've watched many cars who's drivers realize the light is never going to change just make a go for it across busy Rte. 80.

I see there is another thread on this from someone else from months ago, but I'm making another because this is truly dangerous and I want to make it known in an as many places as possible until it is fixed.

This is if you are heading south on Quinnipiac, between the Mobil and Popeyes.

70 Hemingway St New Haven, CT, 06513, USA - Fair Haven Heights
The usual annual potholes under the railroad overpass on Hemmingway are pretty bad right now. Drivers are slamming on their brakes at the last second when they realize what is about to happen. Looking forward to the annual fix!

Court St. New Haven, Connecticut - Downtown
South side of Court Street bridge over the train tracks is an icy mess, since the storm 10 days ago. The ice is compressed and much like a luge track.
  • 862 Orange St. New Haven Ct - East Rock
  • Trumbull St. & Lincoln St. New Haven, CT - New Haven

On a popular walking route for East Rock residents to get downtown (via Audubon St.), one crosses Trumbull St. at Lincoln Ave. Despite signs saying "yield to pedestrians in crosswalk" I find that not only do drivers not yield, they typically accelerate. From one end they are coming off of I-91 and still going highway speeds, on the other they are trying to make the light at Orange St. I almost get hit by cars here once a week or so. Does anyone else have this problem?

Maybe some blinking lights or a radar sign that tells drivers how fast they are going would help?
