There is considerable sand, gravel, pine needles, sticks, etc. in the bike lane / paved shoulder along Peeler Rd east of Chamblee-Dunwoody. The majority is on the north side of the road as you travel westbound climbing up from Olde Village Lane. The south side also has debris.
  • 5477 Roberts Dr Dunwoody, GA - Dunwoody
There is considerable dirt, sand, gravel on the bike lane on Roberts Drive. The most is on the west side - along almost the entire stretch of road, but centered where the road goes uphill for several hundred feet before & after the Power Lines (traveling southbound). There is also debris on the east side, although not as much.

  • 3768-3814 Ashford Dunwoody Rd Atlanta, GA 30319, USA - Brookhaven
The bike lane markings & symbols have worn off along Ashford Dunwoody Rd along the entire segment near Nancy Creek. Please re-apply. Recommend using Thermoplastic, which is being used in other GA municipalities as best practice. It costs less in the long term for maintenance.
  • 1227 Mt Vernon Rd Atlanta, GA - Dunwoody
Can you please clean up / sweep the paved shoulder on two areas on Mt Vernon to provide a safe place for bicyclists to travel? 1) Southside on the eastbound lane from appx. the city limit to Dunwoody Baptist Church; 2) Northside in the westbound lane from Forest Springs Drive to appx. Manhasset. In these 2 areas, mostly there is an accumulation of pine straw, dirt, gravel and other debris. Thanks!!
  • Ashford Dunwoody Rd Ne Dunwoody, GA 30338, USA - Dunwoody
Riding eastbound on Mt Vernon crossing after Ashford-Dunwoody, the "extended curb" comes to a point at the end. This is a very dangerous point for bicyclists, as they must immediately do a lane change and merge to the right lane. Painting a "bike lane" marker with bicycle symbols and directions will indicate to drivers to allow bicyclist to merge into the right lane. This is a safety improvement.
  • 4893-4899 Cherring Dr Dunwoody, GA 30338, USA - Dunwoody
For bicyclists traveling south on Tilly Mill, need to create an appx 2-3 ft wide opening in the raised cement "Porkchop" at the intersection of Cherring & Tilly Mill. This will allow bicyclists a safe passage through this intersection.
  • 2494 Jett Ferry Rd Dunwoody, GA 30338, USA - Dunwoody
Please install a streetlight at the intersection of Dunwoody Club Drive & Jett Ferry. There are streetlights appx 200 feet away on either side of the intersection on Jett Ferry. In the nighttime, it is very dark and dangerous for pedestrians to cross.

On the southbound lane on Roberts drive is a deep & long pothole. Location is approximate. Near the intersection of Whitehall Pointe.
  • 5095 Ashmont Ct Atlanta, GA 30338, USA - Dunwoody
There are potholes on Mt Vernon westbound & Ashmont Court. Directly where the lane narrows on the west side of Ashmont court on Mt Vernon there are at least two pot holes.
I am also a bicycle rider and this pothole is precisely in the travel section of the lane that I normally travel. As the lane narrows here, a bicyclist has to merge more to the left, closer to motor vehicle traffic. With this pothole repaired, a bicyclist can continue traveling in a predictable straight line -- safely.
