I have been begging for over 2 years now to have the canal beside my house fixed. It is eroding my land and I’m afraid that an even larger part of my front yard is going to break off into the ditch. When will this be fixed? The sides of the canal need to be stabilized!

Continued and worsening of ditch erosion. This has been ongoing for years now with repeated attempts for fix. The sandbags have made things worse and county does not seem to want to do their job.

The ditch in front of my house is eroding into my yard and has eroded the pavement of the street. Someone from county put down some sandbags which has exacerbated the problem causing the ditch to be shallower and rise higher causing even more erosion. I have been asking for a fix for 2 years and am quite upset. This is separate from the canal problem. There’s no room any longer for my mailbox, several trees are threatening to fall across the ditch and the road. Please fix!!

Have been reporting this issue for 2 years now and nothing has been done. The canal continues to widen and intrude into my yard along with that of my neighbors. It is decreasing my lot size and threatening the value of my home.

Continued loss of land by erosion caused by canal drainage problems, road crew sandbagging road side of ditch further exacerbating eroding problems of homeowners.
I have filed numerous requests starting over 2 years ago and have had NO action.on this issue .

While the pothole and water leak in front of my house were repaired, they dumped sand and dirt along the edge which has now washed into the ditch and forced the ditch/drainage up further into my yard. At least 4 trees are now in danger of falling into the street and my front yard is eroding away. The area behind my mailbox was also eroded away and is in a precarious state.
Please fix this problem without causing more damage to my property.
    Thank you again.

Canal beside my house continues to erode the property beside my home and the homes further up. Trees are leaning and will fall with the next big storm. I am waiting for the decision on when something will be done. The water is eating away my property and destroying property values.
Please help. (5th request on this issue with 2 visits from engineers but no plan of action initiated to my knowledge)

Water leak and pipe repair done, dirt piled in ditch up to road but road not repaired. New pothole now noted where road sank into hole and curb/edge of road is only sand and dirt and is again eroding . Someone is going to get hurt passing this area if not fixed before engineering dept is able to get in here and do comprehensive canal maintenance and repair.
This needs to be addressed asap. The pothole and the edge of the road need to be repaired!
    Thank you

This is the 4th time I’ve asked for assistance. Someone came out and put 2 orange cones out but they’ve now fallen into ditch with road erosion 2ndary to water leak under the street.
NOTHING has been done to address the erosion of my yard or the street in front of my house and this has been going on since hurricane Irma.
We’re losing trees and yard as will my neighbors.
Do I need to call someone else?
You replied once before and said the problem was resolved. It is not and is ongoing.

I’ve notified county commission 4 times about these issues. The drainage canal beside my house is eating up my property and has taken at least 10 feet since the storms in 2017. Trees are about to fall and the canal is encroaching on my house. It is still full of debris . The drainage ditch in front of my house is doing the same but has washed out the edge of the road. My mailbox will soon fall in along with a couple of trees. Someone did come out and put up a cone and some tape along the road but we’ve heard nothing since. It is taking away large portions of our lot and devaluatesour land. Please help asap
