Years ago I had a similar experience in the same area. Huge holes in the road. It was very dark with nothing warning you about them. I ended up having to buy two tires because of this.

I, too, swerved into oncoming traffic, narrowly avoiding these two large, deep potholes. I was lucky that the oncoming car stopped. Otherwise, I'm not sure if the damage from hitting the potholes or the damage from colliding with the oncoming car would have been worse. This is a very dangerous situation and needs to be addressed immediately.

If this is such a dangerous situation it should have been reported to the police by phone then posted. By the way Public Works is closed today.
