What is interesting is if you look at that first picture, you will notice in the background a white portable carport in someone's back yard. The City made me, and a few of neighbors, take ours down. Why is this one still up?

This issue has been assigned to a Sanitation Inspector for further investigation.

The fact is, the people on that block are pigs. They overfill the containers and do not care what overflows onto the ground, and once it's on the ground no way is anyone going to bend over to pick it up. They care nothing about sanitation or keeping their environment clean. To fix this situation you need cameras out there capturing the offenders and start handing out citations for littering. That might be the needed incentive because common sense in not enough.

WitWas just in the alley yesterday and looks like some has been picked up but some is still there. In the interest of personal safety I will not handle the trash outside the large garbage can. Not sure if it is possible, but maybe the alley could do with an extra garbage can
