Can get a head start when pedestrian lights go for the crossing of Harris St, although strictly that is illegal. Could be allowed if bicycle lanterns were installed. A dashed merge line could be marked.
The bike lane on Ultimo Rd heading east is dangerous, as it puts cyclists in danger of left turning vehicles into Darling Drive. Cyclists should share the lane eastbound.
