  Clean up around the encampment if it can't be moved. The city is now responsible for these people and this is unsafe for all involved.

  Dear Mayor,
  it is not good for one's well being to be constantly subjected to piles of garbage, filth, graffiti, homelessness, human feces, hypodermic needles. You have the power to help to improve people’s quality of life/their mental health by using laws, regulations, and codes already in place that if they were enforced would help to do that.

  The more people that write the more she may understand that ZIP CODE DISCRIMINATION is no longer acceptable in Oakland.

  Hello Neighbors, I, too, reported this horrendous situation well over a month ago and it really upsets me that the city has done nothing about it. I just copied everything on here and sent it on to the Mayor. I will call her office tomorrow and I will keep calling until somebody does something. I also wrote to our City Council Rep and never got any response.

  Thanks for the petition. If the petition does not because your voices are ignored in the halls of power, then you have no alternative than to sue.

  Use people power, get as many of your neighbors involved. Collect evidence, such as complaint logs, ask for the incident number when you call the non-emergency line, take videos, photos.

  Send a formal complaint via a FedEx envelope to CM McElhaney, to Mayor Schaff, and the Department of Race and Equity.
