Water in the road on Lavaca Dr. (on road between Lavaca Dr. and Guadalupe Dr. – facing green belt area) in the Riverside Village subdivision is not draining properly. The standing water remains for long periods of time after it rains and after run off from sprinklers. The standing water in the road is a health hazard due to the ongoing threat of the West Nile virus. Is it possible for the City of Irving to repair the road to ensure that the water drains properly?
