The City is currently conducting traffic studies and roadway improvement projects along both Columbus Dr and Marin Blvd. The results of the studies will inform the future improvements at this intersection.

This intersection has a Leading Pedestrian Interval which gives pedestrians a head start to cross Columbus Dr before vehicles receive a green indication. As part of the Marin Blvd Safety Improvements Project, which is funded by the NJTPA Local Safety Program, the intersection of Columbus Dr and Marin Blvd will be redesigned to be better aligned and concrete curb extensions will be constructed to shorten crossing distances for pedestrians, reducing amount of time pedestrians are exposed within the intersection.
