Why are there so many campers and RVs in the boat launch area I thought they were supposed to be leaving in an ordnance has been in place since January to remove these RVs and campers from overnight parking.

Calm down find something else to complain about they all have to be gone by monday.....congratulations. You just made things more difficult for people who have enough struggle. Do you feel better now

The boat launch parking was never intended as a pop-up RV park, they put additional work on the city, make it difficult for people legitimately trying to launch a boat and apparently don’t have to pay to park (live there). Complaints were generated because the lot was not monitored nor were parking limits enforced. So now the city will post revised signage and supposedly enforce the rules.

It's better for them to park in that huge lot than on our city streets in our neighborhoods. I say leave them alone if they are behaving and keeping it clean. Yes, it might be a boat launch but do we ever see boats launching in there? Never. So just leave them there if they are just living and not causing an issue.

If people cant launch a boat out of there its not because of motorhomes ...its because its nothing but a friggin mud hole that the city has not dredged since who knows when. As far as not having to pay...i beg your pardon my friends just paid $140 for the next month and now have to leave on Monday and they cannot get a refund. The complaining was in my opinion excessive. Artsem...stop being so self rightous. You too coukd find yourself in that parking lot one day ....

They are causing issues. And $140? It’s $20 for monthly parking as per the COV website.

When us the last time you went to the kiosk. No my friends dont cause issues they ate currently reg and insured. They dont litter or make a mess and in fact tjey pick up any litter around that was already there. They dont play loud music anf they leave every day by7pm as per the rules prior to the first. They are two of the most honest trusting people you could ever know. They only have limited income as due to health issues. You complaining people create the issues and force the city to have to do something

Wilma there are sportsman launching boats all thru waterfowl season. Before sounding off, go down and count the boat trailers this morning. Some are not parked legally due to lack of space.

MrRight, that's great it's not your friends causing the trouble. If everyone else followed your friends lead and followed the rules/law, then we wouldn't be here.

From what i understand, the COV cant evict anyone from camping squatting on city owned property unless they have a place for them to go. Maybe im wrong. New state law. Do you wonder why we have one of the highest homeless rate in the nation! Thank you demturds!!!!!!!!!!!! Find a vacant home, take it over and the city will buy it for you when they come to kick you out, seems to have worked in Oakland!

The City of Vallejo has revised its policy for this parking lot. The RV's are in the process of being cited and removed.

Hope that all of you who excessively complained are thrilled...and following all local and state laws
