Please repair and extend sidewalk to complete all of Jeffrey's Grove Road from Creedmoor to Creedmoor. Many children walk to/from school and must dodge fast moving vehicles or walk through yards. This is a major safety concern and should be corrected asap.

Thanks Sammy,
I think the city/county boundaries are part of the issue and don't understand why a select few properties are still county. Regardless, I believe the homeowners would be on board with a sidewalk to keep the foot traffic, strollers, bikes, etc. off their lawn. The petition form requires curb and gutter on city property so I don't believe this technically qualifies. I really hope someone from the city or county will look at this objectively and determine what is needed to provide a safe path for children to get to/from school.

It would be great to get the property owners to address this but really believe the long-term solution is with the city/county.
Is there any representative reading this who can comment on the status? This was assigned a service request ID over a year ago with no update.

I’m in touch with the Jeffreys Grove PTA and through them the school leaders too. There seem to be plenty of people interested in the topic and related issues like the plague of wrong way drivers overtaking the carpool line.
I don’t think a SeeClickFix ticket is going to be the route to a solution so I suggest we coordinate on this elsewhere. You can ping my email (paul at pauledge.com) to get in touch. Thanks!
