I think the many storms we had compromised the flooring there . I believe it was inspected by a city worker or official who deemed it unsafe .Right about the time of the fireworks this was cordoned off with the planks removed (and of course the kids came and played with the cones etc) Contacting West Haven via The Gripe Vine does provide pretty quick action and answers
