The very dangerous intersection is still very dangerous. It has not been fixed.

Every weekday I travel this route both to and from work. To work I travel down 29 and take a left onto Brook Rd, from work I either take a right from Brook Rd onto 29, or if it is between 4:30-5 oclock, when traffic is bad and backs up from the light at the Rt 29 & Rowland St intersection, I will go straight across 29 onto Slade Rd. That being said I have NEVER seen a problem in my 3 years driving this route. Turning right from Brook onto 29 may require waiting a minute or two, BE PATIENT. Crossing over 29 onto Slade Rd may take an additional minute to wait, again BE PATIENT. There is NO need to invest large sums of money because drivers don't want to wait 1 - 2 minutes (TOPS) for a break in traffic. The cost associated with studying this non issue is already a misplaced investment. Please don't compound it with the costly installation of a traffic light, or heaven forbid tearing up the road for a center turning lane to be put in. It's sad when 14 people who cannot interperate and use a fully functional and efficient intersection have a loud enough voice to force a possible investigation into a non-issue.

response to "born and raised in toga-town". : I traveled to and from work using that VERY DANGEROUS intersection. It is a nightmare!! I started going 2 miles out of my way to avoid getting killed. It NEEDS to be fixed!!

It is a dangerous intersection due to no one stopping at the STOP sign on Brook Road. I see people run the stop sign every morning I go to work.

To comment on a very old response from ‘born and raised in Toga Town’, I was not born here and I have only resided in Saratoga Springs since 1954. Over the past 68 years, I think that I have become familiar enough with our community to be able to comment on an intersection which had had numerous serious traffic accidents, two of which were fatal.
