Any updates on this in the last month and a half?

What is the status of this problem? If the state cannot maintain its property, maybe they should consider selling the property to someone who can.

It is still there. Some good neighbors tried to make a drainage path for the water to flow out, it kinda works. But it still smells, retains some water, and has a lot of debris in it. We routinely put natural mosquito larvae killer in it, so those aren't as bad. But, we shouldn't even have to do that...the city should just take an hour and fill it in!

9/11/2013 - Service Review: Did a follow with VDOT about their VDOT Residue Land. VDOT let me know this ticket is still pending action - I in turn let VDOT know the lot used for parking at the Tot Lot Playground owned by VDOT needs for the dips and holes to be repaired and then gravels replaced / grass seeds planted - if you need updates about this activity please call VDOT at (1-800-367-7623) and refer to Service order VDOT SO#-2104048 - leaving open until worked to try to prevent this from falling through the cracks - rtt
