1.) Broken playground equipment and inordinate amount of trash on the playground.
The ride-on toy in the toddler area is now laying on the ground, 100% broken. This needs to be removed or repaired as it poses a risk for curious toddlers.

Also: tire swing is gone.

2.) Next to that spot lies a used condom wrapper and nearby, the condom (used) itself. I can tolerate some trash at playgrounds as I understand the Parks Department has a lot in their plate. The amount of trash there today however, was staggering. Abandoned drinks were everywhere- another temptation for a curious toddler who came within seconds of sampling a neon-green liquid. There are wrappers and trash everywhere.
Parking lot trash cans are overflowing with beer boxes, etc. Maybe more monitoring of the park after-hours is needed?

3.) I came after 10am and the park gate was still locked.

4.) port-a-potty : awful.

This was not a good place to bring a small child this morning.
