The entirety of George Hill Rd is crumblng, has been for years, and the unusual weather this winter has made it even worse. When will the road be rebuilt?

Thank you for your e-mail. The Town is in the process of doing a survey that will look at repairing the entire road. However this is taking longer than expected because new drainage needs to be figured in and engineered as well. We are aware of the condition of the road and will continue to monitor and maintain the road as necessary.

An article was posted in he Grafton News probably 5-7 years ago by the then Town Administrator which said basically the same thing you said - the town is aware of the condition of the road and is studying it. Additionally, the article said the town is not liable for any auto damage.

This issue should not be closed until it is fixed. Due to the town taking years to address the drainage issue on this road it is now causing my driveway to errode and crumble by the roadway like many others I see when driving this road. The town just keeps putting band-aids on it, when will this be repaired?

Still has not been corrected or patched. Please send someone up to fix it.

There are 2 major pot holes in front of 46 George Hill Road. The holes along with the crumbling edges make it impossible for 2 cars to pass each other without going into the holes or off the side of the road.
This are is ledge so I doubt that there is any hope of drainage along this section of the road. It would take blasting to get down far enough to install drainpipes and that is expensive. Just fix the road edges, fill the pot holes and then resurface the road. When the oil and crushed rock was applied in the early 80s the road stayed in much better condition.

Yes, and likewise at 48 and considerable portions of the road. At least patch holes, delaminated surfaces, and enough on the sides fir adequate width.

And yes, the delimitation is going back to the old oil and sand/whatever which looks to still be in better condition to what was put over it.

I see the town came and fixed the area where the two orange safety barrels where. They still have not repaired the area in front of of my driveway or other potholes throughout the road. When is this being done?

I know you guys are repairing the road sometime in the future but can someone come and patch the front of the driveway that was destroyed during the snow plowing please. It shouldn't take this long to fix.
