You have to call code enforcement and file a report. And keep calling until they send someone out, the owner of that land is responsible

The abatement date for this property was set for 08-10-2018 but nothing appears to have been done.

I have no trouble identifying an out of compliance property and I'm not even a city employee!

I think there are two properties on 6th St that still have open seeclickfix cases: this one and 810 6th St. I suggested they both get cleaned up at the same time. The question is when? How many reports does it take to get the job done? One should be enough. Especially when there is city owned property involved.

5th street and the surrounding area is like a big "no go zone" for the City, not sure why this is always like pulling teeth to get a response from the powers that be.

Be aware that some Code Enforcement issues that I have dealt with are 2 years in the works and still no end in sight. They just get written warnings and "Citations".....endlessly....
How about the 5 star gas station sign that has fallen, or the illegal use of property at 120 Lincoln rd. West, or 900 Grant's open field........

I actually live near the 900 grant field and I filed several complaints with code enforcements and finally got them to get out here and clean it up and mow away all the dry weeds, the only reason it was done was because an abatement was filed against the owner of the property and the city charges them for the clean up or they can pay for it themselves, unfortunately people still continue to dump, it’s very sad that people don’t want a nice community

It also went up for sale, that's probably the real reason. And the Laundromat/strip mall was renovated at the same time, just a coincidence?
