the problem stop light lies on Pineville-Matthews road getting onto the inner loop of I-485 toward I-77.
I've timed it. when it is green, it lasts from 5 to 7 seconds.
this is not nearly enough time to pass the massive amount of traffic that builds up while it's red.
this causes long lines and jams that run into normal traffic far beyond the light.
