Dux was asked by Chapel West to sweep their sidewalks daily to the curb and in return Chapel West workers would pick up any trash daily and dispose of it. They were warned about sweeping into catch basin. Anyone sweeping anything into a storm drain should receive a $50 ticket and/or be arrested, including Chapel West workers. Dux staff should be apprised of this violation and be reminded that this violation can be proven because it is stored on Chapel West surveillance camera servers.

LCI Neighborhood Specialist will address issue again with store owner/manager.

We are closing 2018 Illegal Dumping issues found on public spaces( roads, tree belts, sidewalks) in order to focus on current issues. Many of the older issues were addressed through our Streets Division but were never closed. Others involved an interdepartmental solution.
